SYSTRAN Enterprise 5.0 software is installed directly onto the server. User access is managed and maintained by the System Administrator.
Translation is CPU intensive, and performance varies with operating system, CPU speed, language pair, and use of User Dictionaries.
- Up to 250 words (unformatted raw text) per second on Pentium IV 2.8 GHz
- Up to 1.5 Kb (unformatted raw text) per second on Pentium IV 2.8 GHz
- Up to 9 Kb on Dual Intel Xeon 3 GHz based on a large set of various file formats that include tags, HTML, Word, etc.
